Alfa Laval has unveiled its latest innovation, the Hybrid Power Mixer (HPM), designed to succeed the widely acclaimed Tri-Blender. This new iteration boasts an efficient and hygienic design, featuring a two-stage pump comprising one rotator-stator stage and one pump stage.
One of the standout benefits of the HPM is its ability to operate without requiring high counter pressure or an additional pump, a common necessity with many competing products. This equipment excels in rapidly and uniformly dissolving virtually any powder, generating significant discharge pressure. Moreover, it can be seamlessly integrated with IsoMix to enhance process efficiency and streamline tank cleaning procedures.
Customers stand to gain from reduced installation and operational costs, accelerated dissolving rates, enhanced product quality, decreased maintenance expenses, and a compact, mobile design. Capable of handling products with viscosities of up to 800 cP, the system is referenced to dissolve 3000 Kg/h of powdered milk.
Furthermore, a simplified version of the HPM, excluding the support table or wheels, is anticipated to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2014.
