Between June 16 and 18, Sulca Trading Corporation staff participated in the Alfa Laval Bootcamp Medellín 2025. These intensive training sessions constitute the culmination of the basic training program for sales personnel representing the Alfa Laval brand throughout the Andean region.
Over the course of three days, various training sessions were held and focused on understanding Alfa Laval’s portfolio of solutions for the distribution in the Food & Water segment, also a training chapter was dedicated exclusively to the Services segment. The focus of the sessions was on incorporating Alfa Laval’s sustainability tools into the sales process. Similarly, in the services segment, several techniques and tips were taught for applying thermography to perform visual condition assessment for heat exchangers.

Training was led by Alfa Laval experts in sustainability, sales, and service for heat exchangers. Each expert developed case studies in which the trainees had to support their sales pitch by highlighting the advantages and benefits of Alfa Laval products. The goal was to strengthen the salespeople’s skills and generate effective, successful, and long-lasting customer relationships.
The event was held at the facilities of EQUISOL, one of Alfa Laval’s partners in Colombia, and was attended by companies from across the region, from Central America to Ecuador and Peru. Sulca Trading Corporation played an active and prominent role in these sessions, establishing effective relationships with companies in the region and strengthening ties with Alfa Laval for its operations in the Caribbean.
